Hi! My name is Engelise! I was born and raised in South Africa, but I’ve been living in the Netherlands since 2010.
I studied languages and information science at North-West University. In South Africa I worked at various academic institutions and an international engineering company. Nowadays I do freelance teaching, editing and translation work. (I speak English, Afrikaans, Dutch and a little German).
I love nature, animals, reading and travelling abroad. Other hobbies include graphic design and embroidery. Like most South Africans, I love a good braai with milk tart for dessert! I love to help students to develop their language skills and to become more confident when speaking or writing in English.
