In Hello! My name’s Sundriya and I’m originally from the rainy but beautiful Seattle, Washington in the US. I left the green, forested mountains and cold, rushing rivers of the Pacific Northwest at the age of 14, when my family moved to an area of the country which couldn’t have been more different:
Phoenix, Arizona. Picture lizards in the backyard, scorpions in the shower and heat so intense you could literally fry an egg on the hood of your car. A beautiful place, though, the Arizona desert!
At 17 years old I left America and moved to Paris, France, where I resided for 3 ½ years. The next move was to the Netherlands, where I have lived now for close to 30 years. Here in the Netherlands I studied naturopathy for 5 years and, after running a practice for several years, went on to work as a teacher for a Dutch natural health care company.
I love teaching and seeing students learn and develop their skills and confidence. Though I have done this mainly in the natural and complementary health field, my love of languages in general and my familiarity with the English language as a native speaker are of course a great advantage in helping others who wish to learn English.!
